Find here the answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding the use and installation of the bot.
Is the Support IA bot free?
Section titled “Is the Support IA bot free?”No, the Support IA bot requires a monthly subscription to operate. You can subscribe to this subscription on our store.
Is the Support IA bot compatible with my Discord server?
Section titled “Is the Support IA bot compatible with my Discord server?”Yes, the Support IA bot is designed to be compatible with all Discord servers. It simply requires that you have administrator permissions to install it.
Do I need a website to use the bot?
Section titled “Do I need a website to use the bot?”A website hosting your rules is mandatory for the bot to connect and retrieve the necessary information. The bot cannot work without this step.
How much do requests to the Support IA bot via OpenAI cost?
Section titled “How much do requests to the Support IA bot via OpenAI cost?”The cost of requests to the Support IA bot depends on several factors, including the number of requests made and the AI model used.
Initial setup
Section titled “Initial setup”Operations performed: retrieval/storage of the rules, large updates.
Models used:
- 2 passes on GPT-4o
- 1 pass on GPT-4.1
- 1 pass on GPT-4o-mini
- x passes on GPT-5 (if you want to use images in your rules)
Note: each configuration operation consumes many tokens, involving 4-5 AI calls.
We strive to minimize these costs by optimizing requests and using adapted models.
Regular user requests
Section titled “Regular user requests”For each question asked:
- 2 to 3 GPT-4o-mini calls (the 3rd for reformulation or additional analysis)
Note: each request triggers multiple AI calls, multiplying the cost per request.

The price for GPT-4o-mini is 0.74€ (in August 2025) per million tokens (see pricing on their site). All totals should be rechecked based on your actual token logs.
Optional use of GPT-5 can significantly increase costs depending on the size and number of images in your rules. If you do not want to use this feature, simply refuse images during configuration.
The bot configuration is significant only in the first month OR in case of an update to the rules and is therefore not included here (~5€ occasionally extra).
Costs are proportional to the actual activity of the server.
How to get an OpenAI API key?
Section titled “How to get an OpenAI API key?”To use the Support IA bot, you need to create an account on OpenAI. Follow these steps:
- Go to the OpenAI site.
- Fill in the required information, such as your email and password, or log in directly with Google/Microsoft/Apple.
- Once your account is created and you have logged in, go to the API Keys section in your dashboard.
- Click “Create new secret key” to generate a new API key. Enter a name to easily identify the key. The default project is sufficient and grant it all permissions (All).
- Copy the generated API key and paste it into the Support IA bot configuration on your Discord server.
What to do if the bot does not answer my question?
Section titled “What to do if the bot does not answer my question?”If the bot cannot answer your question, it means it didn’t find relevant information in your rules or the answer is not intuitive. In this case, it will alert your server staff. The staff can then provide a response that will be memorized by the bot for similar questions in the future.
If an error persists, ensure the bot is properly configured and your rules are accessible via the URL provided at configuration.

Can the Support IA bot answer in multiple languages?
Section titled “Can the Support IA bot answer in multiple languages?”Yes, the Support IA bot can respond in the language you chose during configuration (FR/EN/ES/DE/RU). Make sure your question is formulated in that language for an appropriate response.
Does the bot extract images from my rules?
Section titled “Does the bot extract images from my rules?”Yes, it extracts images and their textual data. The images must be of good quality and the text readable for the bot to extract information. If an image is not properly processed, it will not be taken into account in the bot’s responses.
Is the Support IA bot 100% compatible with my rules?
Section titled “Is the Support IA bot 100% compatible with my rules?”The Support IA bot is designed to adapt to your rules, but it is important to verify that your rules are well structured and accessible via the provided URL. If the bot does not find an answer, it will alert the staff so they can add that information.
